Our unique products are designed to complement Britain's National Health Service rather than replace it. Our approach allows policyholders to save money through lower premiums but at the same time have choice and control of their healthcare.
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA Registration Number 309977). The Financial Services Authority is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services.

PatientChoice acts as agent for The Ancient Order of Foresters Friendly Society and Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC for the purposes of (i) receiving and holding upon trust premiums from customers and (ii) premium refunds prior to transmission to, or the crediting of an account of a policyholder.
What to do if you have a complaint
If you are an existing policyholder and your complaint refers to your insurance policy you should refer to the complaints section in the document.

If you feel a complaint has still not been brought to a satisfactory conclusion you may direct your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR Tel: 0845 080 1800. Complaining to the Ombudsman does not prejudice your rights to take legal action.
Compensation
PatientChoice is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You would be protected under the scheme if the company was unable to meet its liabilities under the PatientChoice contracts. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
